Wooster Newborn Photography | Welcome Marlow
Welcoming sweet Marlow to the Kristina Rose Photography newborn team was an absolute treat! She slept nearly the entire session and loved all the cuddles from her adoring parents.
Marlow’s mother chose a stunning gown from Reclamation Design Company (my favorite dress shop!) and it looked beautiful on her.
It didn’t take long for Marlow to fill her belly and settle into a deep sleep. This made it so easy to get a variety of moments from solo bassinet shots to cuddling mom and dad.
I think one of my favorite things to document with every newborn photo session is tiny toes. Those little feet will carry them the rest of their life.
FAQ for Newborn Photographers
As an expecting mother with pregnancy brain (it’s real!), planning newborn photos can sound stressful and downright exhausting. Let’s break this down so you don’t skip out on the memories under the pressure.
Q: When should you book newborn photos?
A: You can book your newborn photographer anytime during your pregnancy, but the sooner the better! Many newborn photographers reserve their newborn clients many months in advance. You don’t want to miss your chance with your top choice photographer because you waited too long.
Q: How do you book a session when you aren’t sure what day baby will come?
A: Most photographers (including me) reserve newborn sessions based on baby’s due date. Once baby arrives, parents reach out to the photographer to let them know and get an official date set.
Q: What age is best for photographing babies?
A: My favorite time for newborn photos is anytime between 1-3 weeks old. This is when baby is still just eating, sleeping, and… filling many diapers! Photos can be done at an older age if Mom needs more time recovering, so don’t worry about pressuring yourself too soon if you need more time.
